A Lil' Tude
1996
When Affluent Farms purchased Bonny, its foundation Canadian Sport Horse broodmare in 1995, she was in foal to the imported Hanoverian stallion named Ginsberg. This R.C.M.P. stallion was also sold at the same auction and is an approved Canadian Sport Horse stallion. The following Spring of 1996 brought the second Canadian Sport Horse broodmare into its ranks with the birth of A Lil' Tude.
**UPDATE** - September /08
A Lil' Tude has been bred to the 16.3 hh Thoroughbred stallion, Loki's Fire - she is due to foal next May or June 2009. We are excited to see this cross as Tude has produced one lovely grey Karsh (Secret Secretary) mare named Kallusion. More information about her will be forthcoming from her new owner in the Ottawa area. The stallion, Loki's Fire, can be seen on the website www.thistleridgethoroughbreds.com

When she was inspected in 2000,
she received a score of 73.5% from the three inspectors. The owners were
informed that this was a higher end mark for their mare of Lombard dressage
bloodlines. "Tude," as she is fondly called, has produced three
lovely foals. The first was 16 hh Kallusion by now deceased Thoroughbred
C.S.H.A. stallion, Karsh (Secret Secretary). This dapple grey mare, born
in 2000, was sold to a children's riding camp in Ottawa this
past Spring because her temperament, size and training were suitable
for older campers. The second and third foals were sired by the
deceased Hanoverian, Mattgold. Magnitude is over 16 hh and being ridden
dressage by her owner.
A Lil Tudes foals have proven to have excellent rideability and temperaments with good conformation and movement. She also has an exceptional pedigree on her sire's side because not only are there dressage bloodlines but a jumping line in the form of Wolfsburg. Affluent Farms also takes pride in knowing that Tude's dam, Bonny has produced a Lieutnant Governor's Cup class winner in 2003.
