Mark and I are so pleased that Dash is home now to relax and be a horse for the next couple of months. He has done a lot of hard work with Roy and Sue Fish of Twinholm Stable these past six months but the high point has been his qualifying for the Royal Winter Fair this year. All 3 year olds born and bred in Canada must qualify to enter the Governor's Cup and the Lieutenant Governor's Cup classes now... and Dash did! The Canadian Sport Horse cup qualifiers were at Twinholm Stable and Hendervale Equestrian Complex. At the Royal Dash placed in the top 10 but there is not a ribbon for 9th place. Unfortunately he didn't make the cut for the Lieutenant Governor's Cup class but then his qualifiers proved that he could earn 13th and 14th. In his Canadian Sport Horse 3 year old colts and geldings class he placed 8th. We were pleased even though he didn't do as well as his full brother Dilemma or his half brother Rigaletto (aka Highlander). Dash is only 15.3 hh when his brothers have all been taller. We are still pleased that our great little guy will get back under saddle in the new year for his beginnings of dressage training.
I am also pleased that I am taking some dressage lessons with Magnitude at present and she is coming along nicely. Blessing will begin his under saddle training this Spring as well as little Finyana. All these horses are for sale.
Thanks for your interest in our website and our horses. I hope you
will continue to check for updates as the need arises.
Sincerely,
Vicki
